Opal Eiszeit DK weight 8-ply is a cosy, self-striping sock yarn from Opal, part of their playful Eiszeit ("Ice Age") collection. The thicker DK weight delivers extra warmth, cushioning, and, of course, quicker knitting while retaining Opal's signature durability and self-striping.
Made from 75% superwash virgin wool and 25% polyamide (nylon for added strength), the yarn is naturally breathable and elastic. The superwash treatment makes it machine-washable and resistant to felting and pilling, so it's ideal for everyday wear.
