The LYKKE Driftwood 35cm (14") Straight Needles are available in 16 sizes from 2.75mm (US 2) to 12.00mm (US 17). All of the needles have both metric, as well as US sizes, etched on them.

Named after the Norwegian word for happiness, LYKKE combines high-quality materials and thoughtful design to produce beautiful, durable, happy-making knitting needles. Made of birchwood, they're soft and warm to the touch and smooth on the yarn. 

I generally switch between straight and circular needles for knitting flat pieces, it all depends on my mood at the time. My Nan taught me to knit on straight needles, and they always remind me of her.

I bought my first pair of LYKKE needles in New Zealand whilst visiting and I was so impressed with them. When I returned to the UK I started looking for suppliers and found them in The Needle Store. The best needles ever!

lykke are by far my favourite needles and make knitting a joy with any type of yarn. The Needle Store have the best range of these needles I have come across and their customer service is second to none. Would definitely recommend the needles and the NS very highly - they are my ‘go to’ place for any supplies I need.
