A boxy short cardigan with easy, wearable ease. Designed by Julie Powell, June is worked from the bottom up in one piece in Juniper Moon Farm Rambouillet Air. Body and sleeves are knitted in a stockinette stripe, four rows of Antique Lace, two rows of Cinnabark, then the fronts grow a folded lapel collar.

The image uses Juniper Moon Farm Rambouillet Air in Antique Lace (A) and Cinnabark (B). Finished bust, buttoned: 103–153.5cm (40½–60½"); length 52.5–59cm (20¾–23¼"). To fit bust 81.5–132cm (32–52") with about 21.5cm (8½") of positive ease.

The pattern includes clear written instructions, abbreviations, a stitch glossary and a schematic. You will need 2 skeins of A and 1 skein of B in every size, 4 buttons (⅝–¾" / 16–19mm), 8mm (US 11) and 5.5mm (US 9) circular needles, stitch holders and removable markers.

Gauge: 8 stitches and 14 rows = 10cm (4") in stockinette on 8mm (US 11) after blocking.
