AddiExpress Kingsize Knitting Machine
The AddiExpress Kingsize is Addi's larger hand-cranked knitting machine, equipped with 46 needles to handle larger pieces with little effort.
It produces stockinette stitch, which is a smooth, v-patterned fabric, when knitting in the round, making tubes up to about 35cm / 13.8" in diameter. These tubes are ideal for hats, cowls, or seamless sleeves. You can also create flat panels up to roughly 45cm / 17.7" wide, great for scarves, blanket strips, sweater bodies, or home textiles like cushions and throws. Thread the yarn, flip the switch for round or flat mode, and turn the crank. It's straightforward even if you've never used a knitting machine before.
It works with a range of yarns from needle sizes US 6–11 (4–8mm), so you can use worsted-weight through chunky-weight yarns, depending on tension and the look you want. Built solidly in Germany, it includes a built-in row counter, needle holder, threading tool, replacement needles, clamps for stability, and basic accessories to get started.
You can use it to speed up larger projects, such as cardigans, which are often sewn from panels. It's also great for blankets or accessories. It becomes practical when you want volume without spending hours on needles. The machine is reliable, provides consistent tension, and has fewer dropped stitches once you are familiar with it.
There's a huge amount of content on Addi's website about all of the knitting machines.
