I have moments where things are all over the place, but I do try to keep things in their proper place and easily findable most of the time. The colour of the buttons I received is much more of a light blue than the image on the website (which looks light grey to me). Of course, it does say in the copy that because of the dye, colour can vary but the advertised colour feels quite different to what I received. However, these are nice buttons so I will keep them for another project and order the darker colour accordingly.

Thank you for your feedback; we really appreciate it. It's helpful input, and it highlights an issue we sometimes encounter with variations in different batches of dyes. This can also be influenced by the lighting conditions when the images are taken.
We always aim to update our product images if we notice any differences, but there are times when we aren't able to check. Nice light weight needles which yarn glides along easily. Sharp tip makes fiddly stitches easier to knit and cord length is ideal for shawls. Efficient fast service from The Needle Store thank you.
I recently bought both sets of the Cypra double pointed needles and I could not be happier. They are probably the best metal double points I've ever tried, and that's not an exaggeration. Not only are they well made, Lykke appears to have put quite a bit of thought into the design. At least for me, the needles unexpectedly address the common grievances of double points made with other materials. They have better presence and body when compared to wooden needles, but are also noticeably lighter and more agile than the average metal design. This balance extends to their texture as well: the DPN's are super smooth and allow the stitches to glide nicely. But in contrast, they aren't annoyingly slippery either, having the needle get past you and spontaneously sliding off the knitting completely. This has been an issue for me in the past, and why I had started avoiding metal double points for my projects.
It may be down to the craftsmanship of the Lykke brand, but copper as a material for knitting needles works so well, it makes you wonder why it hadn't been tried more broadly before. The copper is itself beautiful and the "Goldilocks" quality it appears to impart on knitting needle functionality is surprisingly impressive. Totally changed my opinion on metal needles and - because I am a frequenter of double points - easily justifies owning the full sets.
